DFPS/CPS Foster and Adoption

LaQueena Warren serves with the Texas Dept of Family and Protective Services. LaQueena has over 18 years of experience working with vulnerable children who demonstrate a strong need to be loved. Six of her 18 years were with Child Protective Services. LaQueena’s commitment to community service extends far beyond her professional background as a Foster and Adoption Recruiter. She’s always been an active participant within the community, and in particular, connecting with individuals/organizations that assist in furthering efforts to help abused and neglected children find “forever homes”. 

As a caseworker within Child Protective Services, LaQueena works among two stages of services. One stage is the Family Based Safety Services, and the second stage as Conservatorship Specialist. 

Some of you might be familiar with a popular segment that airs every week on WFAA Channel 8 News called Wednesday’s Child. Wednesday’s Child offers a glance into a child’s life who is currently in foster care, who wants more than anything to be adopted. LaQueena coordinates all of the Wednesday’s Child tapings, and it airs on Wednesdays during the 5:00 p.m. news broadcast. Ladies and gentleman, LaQueena Warren.
