Scholarship Application
The CFB Rotary Club makes available funds for annual scholarships to area students. The funds are designed to assist students with a strong connection to the CFB Rotary Club. Students must complete the application below to be considered.
Completed application forms must be received via email by Friday, May 1, 2020. CFB Rotary will review the applications and schedule virtual interviews with selected candidates. Each candidate will need to have at least one reference letter emailed to scholarship@cfbrotary5810.org by the time of his/her interview. Candidates and schools will be notified of awards by phone and/or email.
Eligibility Criteria
Attendees to RYLA sponsored by either CFB Rotary or Farmers Branch Rotary
Member of Interact Club sponsored by CFB Rotary
Member of Rotaract Club sponsored by CFB Rotary
Participant (mentee) in mentorship program sponsored by CFB Rotary
Participant in the Rotary Youth Exchange Program
There are no minimum academic requirements and no requirements of financial need. Applicants must begin or continue their college education in the fall of 2020. Awards Up to $3,000.00 may be awarded annually. CFB Rotary may provide multiple candidates with awards. Past recipients of awards my re-apply. Students may use the funds for tuition, books and other school needs. Students may also use funds for other life needs during the school year. Students will provide an outline of projected uses on the application.
