Carrollton-Farmers Branch Rotary was privileged to host dear friend Beverly Grogan for her last official act as Governor of Rotary District 5810. Beverly presided on Thursday, July 9, at the installation of this year's new Club officers. A long-time Rotarian at Grand Prairie Metro Rotary, Beverly enjoyed not one but three successful careers–first with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company; then with the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce; and finally with the Grand Prairie Parks Department, where she recently retired! Besides her work with Rotary, Beverly also continues to be involved in a number of other local and regional charities, including the Children First Counseling Center, UTA's Christian Campus Center, and the Dallas Children's Theater.
President Dodds thanked Governor Grogan for her years of leadership to Rotary, especially during the tumultuous COVID-19 epidemic. "CFB Rotary loves you and is grateful for you!"
