Thank you for your interest in the Rotary Club of Carrollton-Farmers Branch.  Our club meets every Thursday for lunch at Brookhaven Country Club.  We are 55 years old and our 60 plus members are made up of business and civic leaders who come together each week for lunch, fellowship and service to our communities.  Each meeting we have great speakers that keep us up to date on events, organizations and changes to the communities we call home.
Rotary is a world-wide organization whose motto is “Service Above Self.”    This year's Rotary theme set by Rotary International President John Germ is "Be a Gift to the World." If you have ever thought about joining a service organization, consider joining the 1.2 million Rotarians world-wide that help make the world a better place and are expecting to finally eradicate polio once and for all.  (endpolio.org)
For the last few years our Club has been working on a signature project.  This project is a fully accessible park where handicapped children as well as those who are not physically challenged can interface and play together.  In April of 2016, our Club along with the Rotary Club of Farmers Branch built the playground at Gussie Field Watterworth Park in Farmers Branch.  See our photo album for pictures and a video.
Our Club is now organizing the campaign to build a similar park in Carrollton.  Our Club will also continue supporting our area non-profit organizations like Metrocrest Services, the Family Place, Bea’s Kids and others both financially and through our volunteer hours.  We make a big difference in our community’s while having a lot of FUN!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  Browse our website to learn more about our programs and our community efforts.  Our upcoming speakers are posted.  Come be our guest for lunch at our next meeting.  We would love to have the opportunity to meet you!
