Dr. Charles Cole, former Assistant Superintendent and now advisor to the Superintendent for School and Community Relations of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District, was honored at the November 11th Carrollton-Farmers Branch Rotary Club with a presentation of a Paul Harris Fellowship.  This is an annual presentation by the club to long time employees of the CFBISD who have given outstanding leadership and devotion to the education of the youth in our community.

A Dallas native with forty-two years of public school experience, Dr. Cole was a teacher and principal in Dallas ISD and a principal in Highland Park ISD before joining the Carrollton-Farmers Branch team.  In the Carrollton-Farmers Branch School District, he served as a principal and an assistant superintendent for twenty years.

Before becoming a public school educator, Dr. Cole served in the U. S. Army.  Dr. Cole is active in the community and is involved in the Farmers Branch and Metrocrest Chambers of Commerce. He is a member of the Farmers Branch Rotary Club and serves as the district liaison to the Carrollton-Farmers Branch PTA.

He and his wife Pat have five children and seven grandchildren.
