Holy Angels is a private, nonprofit corporation that provides innovative programs and services for its residents – children and adults with varying degrees of mental retardation some of whom have physical disabilities and are medically fragile.
Summer Reading Program at the Farmers Branch Library and Carrollton Library is a program that encourages the youth of our community to read during the summer months.  Books are provided to students with the funds provided.  Statistics show that the students who read over the summer are better prepared for the next school year.  Leann Underwood represented Farmers Branch Library and Kelly Burns represented Carrollton Library
Community Partners Denton County is an organization that helps abused and neglected children by assisting their foster and adoptive parents, and educating the public in the prevention of abuse and neglect of children.  Lorriane Perry prepresented Community Partners.
Essilor Vision Foundation is a public charity whose mission is to eliminate poor vision and it's lifelong consequences starting with children by providing free eye exams and new prescription eyewear through in-school and partnership programs to children who cannot get them otherwise.  They also educate parents, teachers, caregivers, and community leaders to be aware of the implications of poor vision so they can watch for signs of vision problems in children.  By helping children see clearly today, we give them a better chance of succeeding tomorrow.  Ed Fjordbak represented Essilor Vision Foundation.
Carrollton Young Life is an organization dedicated to serve as a lifeline for kids, one kid at a time. They accomplish this goal by establishing and maintaining a presence at each of the high schools and middle schools in the local area.  Young Life doesn’t start with a program. It starts with adults concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don’t happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency.
Senior Adult Services is a non-profit organization committed to caring for seniors as they face either short or long term changes in abilities caused by illness or age.  Supportive services such as home delivered meals, home modifications and transportation help seniors live independently.
American Fallen Soldiers Project was formed to help provide comfort and healing to the mourning families of our fallen military men and women.  With the mission to honor, respect and forever memorialize those who have sacrificed their lives while protecting our freedom, our 501(c)3 non-profit organization makes available to the families, at no cost, an original portrait of their fallen loved one that fully captures their appearance and personality.
The Family Place is the largest family violence service provider in the Dallas area reaching out to thousands of victims of family violence each year with award-winning programs that keep women and children safe.  For 33 years, The Family Place's mission to end the epidemic of family violence has remained constant.  They believe that intervention, emergency shelter, and crisis counseling for all victims-women, children and men - will save lives and that transitional housing and case management will transform lives for the better.
Bea’s Kids provides hundreds of Kindergarten through 12th grade students a safe, structured environment to receive assistance with homework, age-appropriate learning-based activities, personal development programs and the opportunity to practice self-discipline while building leadership skills.
Metrocrest Social Services assists families in solving their immediate crisis and assisting them in making plans for the future.  Individuals naturally strive to support themselves and their families, however, situations arise where many are unable to provide for basic needs or to accumulate funds for unexpected expenses.
